STORY: A progressive girl married to a teacher from a very traditional and patriarchal family, finds herself stuck into the gender bias of the home. The family is so patriarchal that her mother-in-law hands the toothbrush to her husband, the father-in-law, in the morning for him to brush his teeth. The men eat their meals first and leave the place a mess without consideration or concern for how the women can eat food at the same place after them. How will the progressive protagonist find her way through the age old mannerisms and practices? What will be her story? To know more, watch The Great Indian Kitchen on Filme.
